Set Location to Always (and why)

GigReal tracks miles in the background while you drive with your gig app in the foreground. iOS only allows that when Location access is set to Always.

1. Open iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
2. Tap GigReal.
3. Select Always, and keep Precise Location on.

With "While Using," iOS pauses GPS whenever GigReal isn't on screen — which is most of your shift — and your mileage log ends up with holes in it. Those gaps are lost deductions.

About privacy: location is used to build your mileage log. It's your data, for your taxes — GigReal doesn't sell it.
