Read an offer: pay per hour & per mile

Platforms show you a payout. Trip Identifier shows you what that payout actually means.

When an offer appears and you trigger GigReal, the Live Activity breaks it down: dollars per hour (payout divided by the estimated total time, including the drive to pickup) and dollars per mile (payout divided by estimated total miles).

A quick rule of thumb many drivers use: know your cost floor per mile — gas, maintenance, and depreciation — and skip offers that pay below it. At the 2026 IRS rate, the government itself values driving at $0.725 per mile; an offer paying less than that per mile is often working at a loss.

Works best on Uber and Lyft today; Uber Eats and Spark support is in beta.
